KINGS of LEON Youth and Young Manhood.

Much has been written about this new band.
Their album and live performances have received great reviews.
This is no exception !!
When I heard the record for the first time, it was clear we had, for the first time in a long time,
(Well, OK since the Strokes' first record) ,an exceptional talent.
I started thinking about some of the great debut albums over the last thirty odd years 'Electric Warrior by T.REX,
the eponymous 'Roxy Music', 'Horses' by Patti Smith, 'Love it to Death' by Alice Cooper, 'Stone Roses', right through to 'Is this it?' by The Strokes and the Kings album is up there with them all.
If you have not come across them yet, or are put off by bands who are hyped to death, fear not.
The Kings of Leon are a force to be reckoned with.
The hype is all true.
This is a great rocking album.
I am looking forward to the next with great anticipation !!
