NEW
SINGLE 'TIME FOR DELIVERANCE'
RELEASE DATE OCTOBER 25
Do Me Bad Things release their new single 'Time For Deliverance' through
Must Destroy Music/Atlantic on October 25.
This is the band's second single, following up their acclaimed debut, 'This
Song Rides'.
Do Me Bad Things are the first band to release a record through the newly
forged partnership between
Must Destroy Music and Atlantic Records.
Recorded in Northampton
with some guys that worked in the studio on production duties,
'Time For Deliverance' sees Nicolai Prowse compete for vocal duties as
Chantal Delusional's honey-soaked
soul-blasts resonate around him.
Rich Man then steps up to the plate to offer a guitar solo that'll make
his mother weep.
Formed on St. Valentines
Day 2003, Do Me Bad Things set out to aid their disillusioned and frustrated
selves
by forming a 'Power-house' of triangles. Nine members, with eight possible
vocalists, each play their own important part
in a very important puzzle. After witnessing Do Me Bad Things' live onslaught
you'll wonder why
other bands seem so thin on the ground.
They don't make 'em like they used to y'know?
With influences longer
than their rehearsal attendance sheet, the band effortlessly fuse genres,
mixing Queens Of The Stone Age with Rufus Wainwright, Jon Spencer Blues
Explosion with Jellyfish,
Steely Dan with Monster Magnet, Turbonegro with Randy Newman
ok, you get the point.
Do Me Bad Things create the closest thing to a truly individual sound
that anyone 'round these parts has heard in ages.
